Three Important Things.

1.)  Tomorrow (Thursday, 12/6) I’m going to be a guest on KCUR’s (89.3) program Up To Date. I’ll be talking about what it was like when my dad came out of the closet. My dad will also be on the air, and Amie Shea, one of my partners on The Gay Dad Project, will be chiming in, too. The program begins at 11:00 a.m. CST and lasts an hour. If you’re not in the Kansas City area, don’t worry–you can listen live HERE. You can also ask questions or speak up in several ways while you’re listening:

3.)  I am taking a weekish-long blogcation after this post. When I return, I’d like to resume my Writer Roots series on Fridays. So leave me a note in the comments if you’re interested in guest posting here on a Friday. What I want you to do? Share all about your love of writing and blogging, and when/how/why you started. Any bits of inspiration or insight, etc. I want you to be you. And share a piece of yourself on my blog.
